Kenneth Boulding

Kenneth Boulding (1910-1993) was born in Liverpool England. Educated at Oxford and the University of Chicago, he taught at a number of universities in the United States and around the world. Teaching at the University of Colorado (Boulder) since 1967, he also served as Project Director in the Program of Research on Political and Economic Change at the university's Institute on Behavioral Science. A prolific author, Professor Boulding's major interests were economic theory, grants economics, conflict and peace studies, evolutionary theory, general systems and the study of human knowledge and learning.
