Whole Terrain Resources For Writers: Includes summaries and submission guidelines on an array of literary and scholarly journals, magazines, and links to other resources in the field of nature writing/environmental literature. Also, information on writing institutes, symposiums, nature oriented organizations plus links to online Writing Communities.

ASLE Online: Association for the Study of Literature and Environment, preeminent resource for the fields of nature writing and ecocriticism. Site includes bibliographies, syllabi, and job and fellowship postings. Over the years, Whole Terrain has published more than two dozen prominent ASLE members.

Orion: Website for the Orion Society and Orion Online; includes information on their print journal, publishing some of the most exciting environmental writing today. Orion's executive director and manager-in-chief is H. Emerson Blake. An alum of ANE, Chip edited Whole Terrain's first volume on Environmental Identity and Professional Choices.

Milkweed Editions - The World as Home: This website is dedicated to literary writing about the natural world. Features include a searchable Eco-Region Map of literary resources, ordering info for Stories from Where We Live with accompanying teaching materials, and an online archive of stories/books organized by subject.
